Tata Consultancy Services organized their annual IT quiz on 12th August 2010 at Tagore Hall, Paldi. 12 students from class IX and XI participated in it.

RED DAY – Life is a Celebration .
On Thursday, August 5, 2010 Student of Pre-Primary Section celebrated Red Day. Students and teachers dressed up in red. All the children did red stamping on their face, drew red peacock using hand print and stuck red objects on the walls of the school to mark the presence of little angels in whole school. They were given red pasta for breakfast.
Drama – Bhamasha
A Hindi play on ‘Bhamasha’ was performed by students of Class VIII C on Saturday 4th Sept. 2010. They had undergone a rigorous practice for this from June. The play was done well with appropriate costumes and was appreciated by all.
ART ATTACK AT UDGAM
About 200 students from class 4 to 8 of Udgam School participated in the ‘Paint Your World’ activity organized by Disney Channel as part of their show ‘ART ATTACK’ on Friday 10th September 2010. It was an exciting experience for all them. For an hour and a half students were totally engrossed in the activity. They came out with wonderful paintings of their imaginary world.

Social Service
With the beginning of the new academic year, new volunteers were appointed to carry on the charity work in the school under ‘Yuva Unstoppable’. The first activity of the year was distribution of notebooks to children of municipal school. The volunteers carried out the whole project on their own. They collected funds from students. That amounted to Rs. 20,000/-.
On Wednesday 3rd August 2011, they went to the school at Memnagar carrying bundles of notebooks and distributed them to the children. It was a learning experience for the volunteers.
Declamation competition
Following students participated in a Declamation competition organized by Income tax department on 24/07/2011 as part of the ‘Closing Ceremony of 150 years of Income Tax in India’. The topic was ‘Taxes are Essential for Growth.’ Each one has received a memento and certificate.
