International Earth Day is celebrated to demonstrate support towards a better and sustainable earth. Since children are the upcoming generations of the world, they need to be aware of climatic changes and the importance of nature. Keeping these things in mind, the Udgamites participated with full enthusiasm and witnessed performing rallies, saying slogans loudly, making posters to bring more awareness among all.
Students also learned the importance and value of 3R’s – Reduce, Reuse and Recycle. This encouraged the children to take action and be a part of the global movement and stay dedicated to save the planet which we call our beautiful home – The Mother Earth.
